Surbhi Kumari, a 34-year-old journalist, left her career to return to Gaya, Bihar, with an objective of raising menstrual awareness among women. She launched ‘Sabla', as a menstrual health initiative under SumArth which introduced Periodshala structured sessions focusing on menstrual biology and hygiene. She also installed a fully automatic sanitary pad manufacturing unit in Bargaon village.
