Earthquake hits Tibet days after deadly flash floods

An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 struck Tibet on Thursday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The earthquake took place at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), as per USGS. This comes days after Tibet and Nepal witnessed deadly flash floods that have killed more than 1,000 people.
