Fake liquor worth ₹11.55L seized in Pune, Ahilyanagar

Maharashtra Excise Department busted a counterfeit liquor racket in Pune and Ahilyanagar, seizing stock worth ₹11.55 lakh ahead of Diwali. Raids at Bangarwadi in Junnar and Alkuti in Parner recovered fake-labelled Royal Stag and Imperial Blue bottles. Three men — Sachin Gadge, Tahir Shaikh, and Sagar Borude — were arrested under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949.
