SEBI extends IPO approval validity amid Middle East tensions

The SEBI has granted a one-time relaxation to companies planning to go public, citing uncertain market conditions due to the Middle East tensions. It has extended the validity of IPO observation letters expiring between April 1 and September 30, 2026, till September 30, 2026. SEBI rules require companies to launch their IPOs within a year of receiving the observation letter.
