The billboard that collapsed during a strong dust storm in Mumbai, killing 16 people and injuring 44 others, weighed 250 tonnes or 2.5 lakh kg. It measured 120x120 square feet, surpassing the permissible dimensions of a maximum of 40x40 square feet. The hoarding fell on a petrol pump and tore through the roof of several cars in Ghatkopar East.
