Veteran singer Asha Bhosle, who passed away on Sunday, once held the Guinness World Record for being the most recorded artist in music history. She had set the record in 2011, with up to 11,000 solo, duet and chorus-backed songs in over 20 Indian languages since 1947. The record was later broken in 2016 by Chennai-based singer Pulapaka Susheela Mohan.
