After a gau rakshak, Chandrashekhar, also called 'Farsa Wale Baba', was killed in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura, the police denied the claims that he had been run over by cow smugglers. Mathura Police said that Chandrashekhar had stopped a vehicle on suspicion of cow smuggling when a truck coming from the opposite side hit him due to fog, causing his death.
