Indian government will invest ₹200 crore in electric two-wheeler maker Ather Energy's proposed ₹1,200-crore fundraise through the India-Japan Fund (IJF). The IJF is a $600 million (nearly ₹5,775 crore) bilateral initiative backed by the Government of India and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC). Hero MotoCorp will invest ₹960 crore via convertible warrants.
