LPG tanker Shivalik has arrived in India two days after crossing Strait of Hormuz from Persian Gulf. The vessel was escorted by Indian Navy and is carrying over 40,000 metric tonnes of LPG to India. Another tanker, Nanda Devi, is expected to arrive tomorrow. The government earlier confirmed Iran had allowed the tankers safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
