Govt reveals what factors affect vehicles’ mileage amid E20 concerns

Government said changes in vehicle mileage cannot be attributed to E20 petrol alone, as several factors affect real-world fuel economy. The Petroleum Ministry said mileage also depends on driving habits, traffic, vehicle maintenance, tyre pressure and AC usage. "E20 has undergone extensive testing and validation, while real-world mileage depends on overall driving and vehicle conditions," it said.
