US military confirmed it attacked Iranian radar ‌and command and control sites for ​drones in ​Iran's Goruk and Qeshm ⁠Island over ​the weekend. Calling it "self defence" strikes, US said they were in response to the downing of a US MQ-1 drone that ​was ​operating ⁠over international waters. Iran has retaliated against the strikes by attacking Kuwait.
