A lawsuit filed by a former engineer at Elon Musk's xAI claimed that he was fired from the firm for raising concerns about the risks of AI. The lawsuit further alleged that the engineer repeatedly complained about xAI's failure to prioritise AI safety in regard to the firm's chatbot Grok. The engineer said he was abruptly fired in September 2025.
