Supply shock from West Asia war apparent in economy: Economic Review

The government's economic review for April said a "supply shock" triggered by the West Asia conflict is "apparent in the economy". "An accompanying demand compression is a serious concern, given high prices, rising inflation and a reduced pace of economic activity," it stated. However, it said domestic demand, policy buffers and sustained public investment provide some insulation.
