Lok Sabha on Wednesday rejected the Opposition's no-confidence motion against Speaker Om Birla by voice vote amid sloganeering and ruckus in the lower house. Earlier, 118 Opposition MPs signed the no-confidence motion, alleging that Birla displayed partisan behaviour and failed to maintain the impartiality expected from the Speaker's office.
