Delhi to mandate structural audits for all public-use buildings as 6 die after building collapse

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta said the government is formulating a policy mandating periodic structural audits and safety certifications for all buildings used for public activities. These will include PGs, nursing homes, schools and other facilities. No activity will be permitted if the building fails audits and safety certifications. Notably, six people were killed after a building collapsed.
