Ex- Sri Lanka pacer Lasith Malinga became the first bowler to claim four wickets in four balls in ODIs on March 29, 2007 during ODI World Cup 2007. While chasing a 210-run target, South Africa's Shaun Pollock and Andrew Hall were dismissed in 45th over, while Jacques Kallis and Makhaya Ntini were dismissed in the 47th over, consecutively by Malinga.
