Study shows how video games support children's well-being

A study suggested that gaming matters for children's well-being. The study in children aged 7 to 12 found children are actively moving, expressing emotions and solving problems while gaming. Video games contribute to two types of well-being: hedonic (immediate joy found in gameplay) and eudaimonic (sense of accomplishment that comes from mastering a difficult level or collaborating with friends).
