Irregular bedtime linked to high risk of heart attack, stroke: Study

Irregular sleep patterns are linked to a higher risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke, especially when sleep falls below eight hours, according to a study published in BMC Cardiovascular Disorders. Researchers, who studied 3,231 individuals, found that varying bedtimes among those sleeping less than eight hours could double the risk of such events.
