The Delhi government appointed district magistrates (DMs) to newly reorganised districts and assigned additional charges to several AGMUT cadre IAS officers. G Sudhakar was named DM of Old Delhi, Shailendra Singh Parihar of Central North, and Kumar Abhishek of Outer North. The number of revenue districts increased from 11 to 13, with the erstwhile Shahdara district being merged with others.
