Russian Major General who ordered strike on children's hospital shot in head

Russian Major General Nikolai Varpakhovich, who has been accused by Ukraine of ordering a missile strike against a children's hospital in Kyiv, was reportedly shot in head in northwestern Russia on Thursday. Varpakhovich is reportedly critical and undergoing treatment. Russian Investigative Committee said it opened an investigation into the attempted murder of the military service member.
