After the ECI rejected his poll nomination from Varanasi, comedian Shyam Rangeela said that the District Magistrate told him there was some issue with his documents and that he did not take an oath. He added, "27 nominations were submitted yesterday and 32 were rejected today, I feel like laughing at ECI...should I laugh? Or should I cry?"
