World leaders mourned the death of ex-Indian PM Dr Manmohan Singh. Ex-Canadian PM Stephen Harper remembered him as a leader of "exceptional intelligence, integrity, and wisdom," while ex-Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai called him an "unwavering ally". Calling Singh a good friend of Maldives, ex-President Mohamed Nasheed stated. "I always found him...like a benevolent father figure."
