The Eighth Central Pay Commission has extended the deadline for submitting employee data via its online portal to July 31, 2026, from the earlier June 30 cutoff. The extension was given as several stakeholders were unable to meet the original deadline. Pay commissions use such data to analyse trends and frame recommendations on pay, allowances, pensions, and service conditions.
