Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu on Friday laid the foundation stone for several defence projects, including the ₹16,000 crore Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft infrastructure project in Puttaparthi. The project will reportedly generate about 7,500 new jobs. Other projects include Naval Systems Facility, Defence Energetics, Ammunition Plants and Drone City.
