A Social Welfare Department officer in Karnataka's Pavagada town allegedly died by suicide at his office, police said. Mallikarjun, an Assistant Director with the department, recorded a video before his death accusing a senior officer, Joint Director Krishnappa, of harassment, police added. A case of abetment of suicide has been registered against the Joint Director.
