The Centre recently blocked 300 websites and mobile applications in a crackdown on illegal betting & gambling platforms. These include sports betting sites, online casinos offering slots, roulette and live dealer games, as well as peer-to-peer betting exchanges. Authorities also targeted Satta/Matka networks and real-money gaming apps as part of efforts to curb unlawful online betting activities.
