Filmmaker Priyadarshan revealed he is no longer involved in the making of Hera Pheri 3 and said the film might never be made. "Hera Pheri 3 will never hit the screen due to lots of legal issues and personal conflicts," he added. This comes after producer Firoz Nadiadwala said the film is "on track and moving in the right direction".
