World's largest asset manager BlackRock plans to hire around 1,200 people in India, Bloomberg reported. The company reportedly seeks to hire engineers and data experts in Mumbai and Gurugram to build its AI team in the country. BlackRock recently leased over 1.65 lakh sq ft office space in Mumbai for around ₹400 crore to set up a Global Capability Center.
