ISRO's 'Bahubali rocket' falls back to Earth after 9 months in space

The upper stage (C25) of India’s Launch Vehicle Mark 3 (LVM3), which was launched in November, 2025 from Sriharikota, re-entered the atmosphere on July 30, ISRO confirmed. The 'Bahubali rocket' had launched the CMS-03 communication satellite, its heaviest-ever, into orbit. A modified version of the same rocket will also be used under India's Gaganyaan mission to put humans in space.
