Singer Adnan Sami revealed that the music label called his track Lift Karadey "sadak chaap". "They said, 'On one hand, there are classy songs like Kabhi Toh Nazar Milao and Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein...on the other, there's this song'," Adnan stated. "They didn't want to put any money into it. We literally shot that video in...guerrilla format," he said.
