Reacting to New Zealand's win against India in second ODI while chasing 285, ex-India captain Sunil Gavaskar said he was surprised by how easily New Zealand won. He stated India should've used the slowness of the pitch and should've restricted New Zealand to 260 or 270. "I thought that would have been an easy win for India," he added.
