Amritsar Soormas' Naman Dhir smashed 173 off 64 balls in Sher-E-Punjab T20 League match against Mohali Kings, falling two runs short of Chris Gayle's record 175*. However, the knock won't count in official T20 records. The Punjab league doesn't have recognised List A T20 status, with BCCI's official men's T20 competitions currently limited to IPL and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
