Over 21,000 fans attend NZ-Afghanistan T20 WC match at Chepauk
A total of 21,266 fans turned up to watch the T20 World Cup 2026 match between Afghanistan and New Zealand at the MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk) in Tamil Nadu's Chennai on Sunday. New Zealand defeated Afghanistan by five wickets in the match, which began at 11 am. New Zealand will next face the UAE at the same venue on Tuesday.
