Milk prices to rise by ₹9 per litre in Mumbai

Milk prices in Mumbai are set to rise by ₹9 per litre from September 1, after the Mumbai Milk Producers Association raised the wholesale price from ₹93 to ₹102 per litre, reports said. The hike has been attributed to rising cattle feed and dairy production costs. The revised rates will remain in effect until February 28, 2027.
