Manasi Desai, a student at Centenary College of Louisiana, has developed a prototype nail polish that can turn fingernails into a touchscreen stylus after noticing that people with long nails struggle to use smartphones. The polish was made using the amino acid taurine and the organic compound ethanolamine. It currently has limited durability and does not work for long periods.
