Dark matter could be at Milky Way's centre, not black hole: Study

A study suggested Milky Way's centre might not contain a supermassive black hole but a dense clump of dark matter. Its compact core pulls on nearby stars like black hole, while surrounding dark matter halo affects the galaxy's outer stars. The core and halo could explain both fast central orbits and slower orbital speeds at great distances from the centre.
