DA for Chhattisgarh employees hiked by 2% ahead of Diwali

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced a 2% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) for pensioners, ahead of Diwali, taking the rates to 60%. The hike will benefit nearly 3.85 lakh employees and 1.5 lakh pensioners, Sai said. Notably, the revised rates will come into effect on November 1.
