Karnataka raids 80 sweet shops ahead of festive season

Karnataka's Food Safety Wing inspected 80 sweet manufacturing and sales units on October 14, collecting 125 samples statewide. Officials found unhygienic conditions, missing medical certificates, and unlicensed operations. Notices were issued to 10 units. Samples sent to labs for analysis. Drive was ordered by Health Minister U T Khader ahead of the festive season.
