India's Kaveri engine clears Russian trials, moves ahead to power stealth drones
India's Kaveri dry engine, developed by DRDO, has cleared high-altitude and flight trials in Russia, bringing it closer to integration into Ghatak, India's upcoming stealth drone. Kaveri recorded a peak dry thrust of 48.5 kN, surpassing its 46 kN target. The engine is now expected to undergo certification by the Centre for Military Airworthiness and Certification.
