CBI finds no proof of corruption in case involving Nirav Modi

A court has transferred a fraud case involving fugitive businessman Nirav Modi and officials of Punjab National Bank to a magistrate's court after CBI said corruption charges against the bank officials could not be proved. Complaint alleged a ₹321.88-crore fraud through misuse of credit facilities extended to Nirav's firms. Nirav and Mehul Choksi are prime accused in a multi-crore scam.
