Amid his threats to invade Greenland, a 2019 post by US President Donald Trump has resurfaced. Trump had shared a photo of Greenland with a large, gold Trump Tower on it, writing, "I promise not to do this to Greenland!" In August 2019, Trump had said that acquiring the Danish autonomous territory would essentially be "a large real estate deal".
