Actress Chhaya Kadam, who played the role of 'Manju Maai' in 'Laapataa Ladies' expressed her shock and dismay over the film exiting the Oscar 2025 race. “I had a lot of expectations. I was a little shocked today. But, it's ok," she said. 'Laapataa Ladies' was India's official entry for Oscars 2025 in the Best International Feature Film category.
