Pak media compares how poverty rate fell in India and rose in Pakistan

After a recent World Bank report stated India lifted 49.6 crore people out of poverty, Pakistani media compared poverty rate in both the countries. It showed how extreme poverty rate dropped from 27% to 2.6% between 2011 and 2023 in India. Meanwhile, extreme poverty rate rose to 23% in Pakistan instead of dropping.
