Harish Rana, first person in India to be allowed passive euthanasia, passed away on Tuesday at AIIMS-Delhi after over 13 years in coma, ThePrint reported, citing sources. Rana, who was pursuing civil engineering at Chandigarh University, had suffered severe head injuries after falling from fourth-floor balcony in 2013. His 'right to die' was upheld by Supreme Court earlier this month.
