Investors lost nearly ₹1,00,000 crore on Thursday as HDFC Bank shares fell over 8% to a 52-week low within minutes of the market's opening. This comes after India's largest private lender's interim part-time Chairman Atanu Chakraborty resigned, saying that happenings at the bank weren't in "congruence with [his] personal values and ethics". RBI said there were "no material concerns".
