Shares of InterGlobe Aviation, parent of IndiGo, jumped about 3% to an intraday high of ₹4,512 on Wednesday after CEO Pieter Elbers resigned with immediate effect. The airline appointed Managing Director Rahul Bhatia as interim CEO. Elbers' exit comes months after IndiGo cancelled and delayed thousands of flights, affecting lakhs of passengers.
