Supreme Court has allowed ED officer Ankit Tiwari, who was arrested in 2023 by Tamil Nadu Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, to travel to MP from Tamil Nadu. DVAC had arrested Tiwari after catching him accepting ₹20-lakh bribe. The apex court, while granting bail to Tiwari in March, directed him not to leave Tamil Nadu without prior permission.
