In a first, Canada blames Khalistani extremists for 1985 Air India terror attack

In a first, Canada has officially blamed Canada-based Khalistani separatists for planting a bomb on Air India flight 182, the Kanishka, in 1985. Canadian Security Intelligence Service stated this while marking the 41st anniversary of the deadly incident. For last two years, the agency has stated that Canada-based Khalistani extremists continue to "pose a national security threat" to the country.
