UP hotels, restaurants will now have to disclose cooking oil used to prepare food

The Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA) in UP issued a set of new directives under which hotels, restaurants, and other food establishments will now have to inform customers about the cooking oil used to prepare food. Food establishments will also have to display a Food Safety Connect QR code so that customers can easily lodge complaints if required.
