Christianity taught love, half can't understand this through Tamil, says TN Minister, sparks row

A political row erupted after Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Marie Wilson reportedly said that Christianity taught him love and empathy, and half of the people can't understand this through the Tamil language. He was responding to a DMK MLA who had objected to his incorrect use of Tamil while presenting the budget in the state Assembly. BJP also slammed him.
